But like someone said before, it is comforting to know that we are not alone. I lost my sweet angel, Audrey, February 24th, 2012. My story is almost exactly similar. I was 38 weeks pregnant, and had a perfect pregnancy up until everything fell a part. I had been having braxton-hicks contractions and had been very busy at work, when my husband asked how Audrey was doing. I then noticed she hadn't moved in a while. I ate some dinner, drank some orange juice, and laid down thinking that would make her move. I felt nothing, so I called my doctor and went to the hospital. When the doctor couldn't find the heart beat my world came crashing down. I was induced and delivered her the next day. I cherished the time my husband, family, and I had with her until I was discharged. I never felt so empty leaving the hospital with out my baby girl though. I've never felt emptier in my life, and long to hold her every second of every day. I trust that God has a plan and a reason for everything. Thank you for sharing your stories, you're in my prayers.Christinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10313675270361482074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6082235500192875202.post-34305881981910353702011-10-08T19:40:39.656-04:002011-10-08T19:40:39.656-04:00Reading your story touches me.

I had my baby girl on Saturday, February 28th, 2009 at 9:28 pm. We found out the night before she had no heartbeat. We were scheduled to be induced on that Sunday.I had been so busy during the week I couldn't remember the last time she had moved. I really tried to feel her that Thursday night and I thought I felt her, so I just went to bed. After going to dinner with my boyfriend friday night I was feeling for her to kick. We were concerned so we went to the hospital to make sure she was alright. They couldn't find a heartbeat and told us we had lost her. She is still currently in Denver and they are still trying to figure out what happened. I had the perfect pregnancy.

I am truley sorry for your loss, but it's good to know we are not alone. I'm still in shock I think. It has only been a week and a day.

Lily Raine was 5 lbs 13 oz and 19 inches long.lilysmomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14689944945996827874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6082235500192875202.post-87640211428710044742009-02-18T12:24:00.000-05:002009-02-18T12:24:00.000-05:00I am so sorry for your loss. During church on Sunday, my husband asked if he'd moved much that day and it suddenly hit me that I hadn't felt him. I was rushing around to get myself and my daughter ready for church, I just didn't notice. The search for the heartbeat felt like an eternity....so unreal. I am still in the hospital recovering from the c-section that I had to have. This just makes no sense. I've prayed and prayed......the doctor has no answer why it happened. He was perfect....just beautiful. 8lbs 8oz; 21 inches long.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6082235500192875202.post-57687440647363479772009-02-03T22:15:00.000-05:002009-02-03T22:15:00.000-05:00Hi Christine,The same thing happened to me. I have the feeling we won't have an answer either (all the ultrasounds and blood tests throughout the pregnancy were perfect). This was my first baby and I am totally in shock. As Kelly said, we have to stay strong and keep living the best way we can.
Hugs,
FranciscaFranciscahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06906704416048827050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6082235500192875202.post-21063523025720095912008-11-18T14:09:00.000-05:002008-11-18T14:09:00.000-05:00Thank you Christine, for sharing your story. You ...Thank you Christine, for sharing your story. You are definitely not alone. The same thing happened to me -- almost to the exact detail. My Sofia was 39 weeks, 5 days when she was stillborn on October 27, 2008. I was having contractions, but couldn't tell if she was still moving. I was admitted into the L&D ward on October 26, and that was when I found out she was gone. There is no medical explanation for her death either -- and I too had a perfect pregnancy. Stay strong and know that you are not alone.
--Kelly R.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
